about

Man in The Moon is the 8th album from The McSweeney Kings.

The uniquely imaginative title track is written by Peter McSweeney, along with jazzy 'What A Day' and 'Zing'; whacky-fun 'Scrambled Eggs' and experimental jingles 'Huntley Palmers Biscuits' and 'The Picnic Song'.

Helen McSweeney has contributed spiritual and peaceful 'Heaven's Skies' and 'While I'm Sleeping'; moving and inspiring 'Just One Light' and encouraging 'Breakthrough Day'.

Simon McSweeney this year has written more powerfully thought-provoking songs 'Desert Wolf', 'The Fall' and 'Homeland'.

The album was recorded during a weekend in October 2019. Album production was done by the amazing Joe Davison (Auburn Jam).

The McSweeney Kings began in 2012 when the family booked themselves into Auburn Jam Recording Studio and were so delighted with the results that they have recorded an album every year since.
